Vocally people say I sound like Michael Bolton or other blue-eyed soul singers when I sing soul music. Sammy Hagar, Chris Cornell (Audioslave) when I do heavy rock. I love it all! I always try to sing with passion and emotion whatever kind of music I'm doing. Like I said I let the song itself dictate how I will sound. I guess I'm mostly from the old school of music. I grew up in the 60s and 70s when there was soooo... many great songs and artists on the airwaves and in the record bins(remember them?)
I've been listening to and writing in the styles of the 60's and 70's for years now. it's just who I am musically I suppose. You can't be exposed to all that great stuff your whole life and not be deeply influenced by it. The new CD is called "Every Shade Of Soul” and is available now for listening and download. It's a collection of original and covers songs of some of soul and R&B music’s greatest hits. Stay tuned for more.

4/24/10 - Two Songs Signed to a L.A. film and TV Publisher
I have had two songs from the CD signed to an L.A. publisher for film and TV so don't be surprised if you hear one of theses tunes on the TV soon. It's amazing how many people really dig this old school stuff.Having completed the CD, I am now booking some live gigs and plan on doing a CD release party in the not too distant future. Y'all are invited. Bring your dancin' shoes.I am also continuing to write new songs in different genres such as country/pop/rock etc. hoping to place some tracks with major label artists. Those songs have to come from somewhere folks.I am currently producing new tracks in the studio with my long time collaborator Kevin Hogan at KH Studios in south jersey.Mostly singer-songwriter stuff/some indie rock/country pop.I love it all I'll have some new songs up on the website soon for you to hear and give me some feedback on.Until then.... Faith,Hope and Love be yours. Scott
